Student Services

At the heart of our school division is a deep commitment to the success and well-being of every student. The Student Services Department brings together a dedicated team of professionals who work collaboratively to provide support that goes beyond the classroom. From health and wellness to academic guidance and social-emotional development, we are here to ensure that every child feels safe, supported, and empowered to thrive.

We understand that students succeed when their families, schools, and communities work together. That’s why our team partners closely with families, community organizations, and local agencies to meet the diverse needs of our students ensuring that no child is left without the resources they need to learn, grow, and succeed.


What We Offer

The Student Services Department provides a wide range of integrated supports designed to promote student well-being, remove barriers to learning, and create positive, inclusive school environments. Our services include:

  • School Counseling & Mental Health Support – Licensed counselors and student support specialists offering academic, emotional, and social guidance.

  • School Nursing Services – Professional nurses providing essential health care, screenings, and wellness education.

  • Behavioral Intervention – Specialists helping to create positive learning environments through personalized behavioral support.

  • Student Conduct & Alternative Education – Programs that promote accountability, restore learning opportunities, and support positive choices.

  • Truancy and Attendance Support – Staff dedicated to encouraging regular school attendance and addressing barriers that impact it.

  • Enrollment & Homebound Services – Assistance with registration, placement, and instruction for students unable to attend school due to medical needs.

  • Homeless Education Support – Ensuring students experiencing homelessness have equal access to educational opportunities.

  • Family Engagement & Community Partnerships – Connecting families with resources and support through strong collaboration with nonprofits, local law enforcement, court services, and the Department of Social Services.

  • Athletic Health & Wellness – Athletic trainers providing injury prevention, treatment, and recovery for student athletes.

  • Student Development & Enrichment – Programs and initiatives that support personal growth, leadership, and lifelong learning.

For support, families are encouraged to contact their student's school counselor, nurse, athletic trainer, or student support specialist directly by calling their base school. These dedicated professionals are available to assist with questions, concerns, and services specific to your child’s needs.
