Clear Bag Protocol
Campbell County Students, Parents, Community Members, and Guests
Campbell County Public Schools is implementing a new clear bag protocol for athletic and extracurricular events to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all students, staff, and spectators. This decision aims to enhance security and aligns with practices already adopted by several local school divisions.
The following guidelines will be enforced at all of our sporting events beginning with the 24-25 Winter Athletic/Extracurricular Season:
Permitted Bags:
-
Clear bags made from plastic, vinyl, or PVC
-
Small wallets or clutches
Prohibited Bags:
-
Large bags that are not clear, including backpacks, briefcases, fanny packs, purses, luggage, or diaper bags (unless accompanying a small child)
Additional Information:
-
All bags, regardless of size, are subject to inspection at the gate.
-
Bags for medical supplies and babies/small children will be inspected at the gate.
-
Individuals bringing prohibited items will be asked to return them to their vehicles.
-
Any illegal items found during inspections will be confiscated and reported to law enforcement.
-
Campbell County Public Schools is not responsible for bags left at gates or ticket booths during events.
Thank you for your cooperation in creating a secure environment for everyone involved.
