Media Digital Information Release
During the course of the school year, opportunities arise for the publication of photos, digital images, and/or videotaping of individual students and/or their work (examples are: son wins track meet, daughter selected to Governor’s School, etc.). These images are normally released to the news media (Print and TV) and can be posted on Websites (News Media, Campbell County Public Schools, Individual Schools, etc.) and will be accompanied by certain demographic data, such as, without limitations, class in school, age, height, weight, etc. As you know, this kind of positive information benefits the schools and can be of benefit to the individual student, but posting pictures of students on Websites carries some risk.
If you do not want your child’s photo/video image to be used as described above, please check below, sign and return this form to the school Principal. We cannot guarantee that your child’s photo will never appear if you do not want it to, and the Campbell County Public Schools Board assumes no duty or liability in this regard. However, we will notify school staff and try to comply with your wishes.
_______ I do not consent to the display of my child’s photo/video image on any website or the release of such a photo to any organization where the photo could end up on a website.

Bus Safety
Bus Behavior Expectations and Rules
Students and Parents/Guardians
We are proud to be able to offer your students the convenience and safety of public transportation to and from school and to extracurricular events. We are dedicated to providing the safest and most reliable transportation possible. Loud, disruptive, and distracting behavior poses a danger to students and drivers as well as the general public operating on public roadways and we ask that you assist us by setting high expectations for your student’s behavior in this regard.
The standards of behavior outlined in the CCPS Code of Student Conduct and the following additional transportation rules and regulations will apply to all students anytime they are utilizing any form of CCPS Transportation Services including buses, vans, or any other vehicle approved to provide transportation for students. Utilizing CCPS Transportation Services is a privilege and students shall follow the additional rules outlined in this document. Disciplinary consequences resulting from failure to follow these simple safety regulations may result in revocation of riding privileges and/or suspension from school depending upon the severity of violation.
Pre-K-4th Grade Students only: Parents/guardians or a designee of students in preschool through the fourth grade must appear at the bus stop each morning and afternoon to load and receive PreK-4 students. The designee may include an adult (designated in writing) or a sibling (5th grade or older. If you or your designee is not present to receive your child in the afternoon, the bus driver will bring your child back to the school. Failure to take possession of your Pk-4th grade student may result in the loss of transportation services.
Very Respectfully
James Rinella
Director of Operations
